We believe in the Trinity: God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The Father is almighty creator of the universe, who is both loving and just. The Son is Jesus Christ, who was fully God and fully human, and came into the world to establish the kingdom of God. He died on the cross to pay for our sins, resurrected from the dead, and ascended into heaven to claim victory over sin and death for all who believe. The Holy Spirit is the guide and source of power for all believers, leading us in fullness, purpose, and in carrying on the very mission of Jesus.
The Bible is the true, inspired, perfect Word of God. It’s God’s love letter to us, His revelation about who He is, and the authority by which we base our understanding of our purpose, salvation, and daily living.
Salvation in Jesus Christ is complete restoration of our lives: We receive salvation through faith in Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross, with a commitment to Him as Lord and Savior of our lives. Spiritually, we are then forgiven and have a destiny in heaven; practically, God provides for our needs; relationally, our faith empowers us to mend broken relationships with others.
Jesus will return one day in glory, fully establishing His kingdom, defeating Satan forever, and making his final judgment on humanity, with eternal punishment for the unrepentant and eternal life for the believers.
Until that day, the church is the family of believers who model and expand the kingdom of God throughout the world, where the unconditional love of Jesus brings holistic restoration. We are called to worship as a community of faith on the Sabbath and continually spur one another on toward love and good deeds.
