Inception Review

Inception Review

All new review from our very own David Kwon. If you want to see more let him know!

Inception was a great movie! Christopher Nolan presents an original idea that he is able to execute perfectly and make it follow the success of his other films. The movie is about a team of ‘dreamers’ that are able to step into other peoples dreams to extract whatever information is needed. Nolan takes this complex idea and flips it around to make it into something that you would have never imagined. The film also consists of top notch actors that makes the movie that much better. Leonardo DiCaprio, I mean do I even need to say how good this guy is? Joseph Gordon-Levitt also does an excellent job in the movie that probably earned him a HUGE break. And while I do not want to go down the list of actors and call out their accomplishments, they all did a great job! I feel that at this point in Nolan’s career, Christopher Nolan is no longer just a name. His name is a brand and it’s going to start calling out to some big time actors and big time movies. We can all probably expect some good things from him in the future.

We were talking about this movie @ Buffalo Wild Wings last night: The first wave of Unionites who saw it raved about it, and the second wave said it was overrated. Now that DK’s First Take has come out, the people have a verdict! Since non-G-rated movies are no longer an option in the theater for the Lees, we will definitely rent it!

  2. @unionres The only thing that I can say about Inception is it’s brilliant, you really have to see this movie! Christopher continues to out do himself, time and time again! At first I was a bit skeptical when we went into the movie. I was sure Leo and Nolan could pull it out… Without seeing it you really think how is this going to work? It sounds a little strange. Then you see it and it really is a mind blowing movie. 10 out of 10 stars!

Unionres=Sang for the 1st post, James Kim for the 3rd post, Sang again for this post, hahahaha

I gave Inception a B+ (almost A-). The shooting at each other scenes were a bit too long and frequent, and I could’ve done with a little less about Cobb’s wife’s issues.

Otherwise, big points for originality, thought-provocation, and entertainment.
