Hi Family,
Back from such an amazing retreat, I’m full of gratitude. In our prayer meeting before leaving, we asked God for bonding in fellowship, getting away to refocus, renewal in our relationship with Christ, direction for our future, and the power of the Holy Spirit. During our retreat, God said, “YES!” to each of those requests, and I believe we’ll remember this time for years to come. Now that we’re home, take hold of the spiritual commitments you made, and pray for one another, as you did when we were away. Thank God, who is generous in blessing, ready to meet us, and continues to walk with us each step of the way. Let’s represent Him as the Holy Nation. Because of the way we closed out the year, I know 2010 will be unforgettable.
1) NEW YEAR’S EVE BALLOONS/GAMES/SERVICE: THIS THURSDAY EVENING. @ 7:30 PM, we’ll meet @ the large sanctuary to make 260 balloons with Bible verses for our entire church; @ 8:30 PM in the English Sanctuary for Yoot Nori games with KM/board games in our Living Room; and @ 11:30 PM @ large sanctuary for New Year’s Eve service. Please come and help out with balloons, so three of us lonely guys/girls won’t have to make 82 each.
*** ALERT *** Grace’s contractions are every 10 minutes, and she’s giving me 3 minutes to finish this… if the baby comes on the weekend, I’ll text several of you to spread the word that our worship service will be joint with the Youth Group @ 11:00 AM. If the baby comes before the weekend, we’ll have service at our usual 9:30 time. Suddenly, 14 of our guys just started praying that Yun-Soo would come on the weekend.
3) MISSION FOCUS: THIS SUNDAY @ WORSHIP. Our first one of 2010! Hyonroh, please let me know the game plan by Friday.
