URC Weekly 11/1/09: Heroes and a Princess



I love our kiddos, and on Holy-Winning Day, they came in full gear: Lina was fairest in the land, Han-Soo and Joon-S00 were the Dynamic Duo, Diego and Anthony were soldiers from different eras, and I’m almost positive Ayden said to me, “Power you will find, if pray you will, my son.”  Dylan was doing his job in resting and getting healthy after a hard week of illness (praise the Lord he’s back to 100%).  Next up, Thanksgiving…

1) CG: THIS FRIDAY @ 7 PM @ SANG/GRACE’S.  We’ll finish our series on prayer, eat, and play.

2) PRAISE BIBLE STUDY: THIS SUNDAY @ 1 PM

3) SATURDAY EVENTS: UMEC PRAISE NIGHT (11/14 @ 6 PM), THANKSGIVING @ THE PARK (11/21 from 11 AM-5 PM).  Please pray for both; the latter will be our Thanksgiving outreach @ Covina Park, with a Thanksgiving meal, performances, family activities, and a message for community members and the homeless in West Covina.
