Union Weekly 3/22/09: Crab Feast!
Ladies and gentlemen, it’s time… time for CRAB FEAST! All I have to say is, last year Tae laid out a huge roll of paper on the deck, and then just poured a mountain of corn on the cob, fingerling potatoes, shrimp, and all kinds of other stuff, and those were the sides to the dungeness crab with garlic butter dip. It’s been a rough season for many @ URC, and this will be a much-needed time of fellowship and food…
1) NO TNF: Since we’ll be eating on Sunday, we’ll take a break from our usual Thursday dinner.
2) NO SPORTS SUNDAY: Conflicts with the crab, so sports loses, haha. We’ve postponed this so many times for weather, lack of players, and now food, that Sam and I wondered if God is against sports on Sunday (is it considered work on the Sabbath?).
3) CRAB FEAST: THIS SUNDAY AFTER DISCIPLESHIP @ JAMES/ANGELA’S (Corona; directions given on Sunday). If you haven’t paid $20 to Sara Kim or talked to me about other arrangements, we won’t have food for you 
. If you still wanna go, let me know ASAP, and we’ll see if we can work something out.
BYOT: Bring Your Own Tools. Those little mallots turned out to be expensive, so please bring some tools to break the crabs with (small hammer, those nutcracker things, brass knuckes…)
4) ANGELS/A’s GAME: 4/7 (Tue) @ 7 PM. Won got tix through Ted Kim @ ULC, and they’re only $10.50 per. Several of us are already paid and going. There’s a limited supply, so talk to Won ASAP if you wanna go.
5) EASTER PERFORMANCE: 4/12 (Sun) @ 10:30 AM. We’re having a joint service with the entire church, and it’d be awesome to bless our families with a skit, movie, musical piece, etc. If you’re up for doing something, please email me this week. FYI, we’ll have a Good Friday service on 4/10 @ 7 PM (tentatively), so please save the date.
6) SCRIPTURE READING/OFFERING: Sam Roberson-Yi
7) DEVOTIONS: 2 Chronicles 26-31 (Evil Kings of Judah, Good King Hezekiah)
